**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**

POLEX TV PRICING IN 2025

Since becoming a legally registered tax-paying business several years ago, POLEX TV has been absorbing the cost of the 21% IVA on all subscriptions paid via bank transfer, card, or PayPal in order to keep rates for members as low as possible, for as long as possible. However due to rising costs over the past five years, this is no longer sustainable going forward. Prices for *everything* have increased by an average of 30% since 2020 due to inflation. Throughout this period we have maintained stable and consistent pricing, unlike many of our competitors who have increased their rates annually.

While CASH subscription rates will remain unchanged this coming year, starting from 1st January 2025 all *online* payments will be subject to 21% tax, as we can no longer absorb these costs. This is a necessary move in order to keep the business viable. For single annual subscriptions (our most popular subscription), this change will result in a price increase of around €4 per month - a little more for shorter subscriptions. Current paid-up subscriptions will, of course, be entirely unaffected until the next time they are renewed.

📆  EXPIRY DATES  📆

To check when your subscription expires, go to the ACCOUNT option on the home screen of your POLEX TV service (to the left of RADIO). To ensure a continuous service and avoid disconnection please renew your membership 7-10 days before it expires - LATEST by 27th of the month.

Want to know if your payment has been received? Check the ACCOUNT option every now and again… When your expiry date has been extended then your payment has been successfully received and processed.

💰 CASH PAYMENTS 💰

If you are local and can renew your membership subscription in CASH, it would be much appreciated!

We have an informal arrangement with CAFÉ CORTADOS in Javea port (just along from the new public indoor swimming pool, and one road over from the port medical centre).

As always, please only leave your payment there in a sealed envelope with POLEX TV, your name and the amount contained inside clearly written on the front (for security reasons).

ANY ENVELOPES DELIVERED AFTER 27th OF THE MONTH MAY NOT BE COLLECTED OR PROCESSED UNTIL THE FOLLOWING MONTH.

🏦  BIZUM & BANK TRANSFERS  🏦  

RATES WILL INCREASE ON 1st JAN 2025 FOR ALL NON-CASH PAYMENTS

BIZUM is FREE to most Spanish bank account holders, and is the fastest and cheapest way to renew your membership subscription from your Spanish phone (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) with just a phone number (see below). Many Spanish banks now support free and instant BIZUM payments up to €500; check with your bank and make your payments easy and instant!

Alternatively, you may choose to set up a bank transfer from your Spanish account - details below. Bank transfers may take up to 24 hours to arrive (longer at weekends and public holidays), so please be sure to renew in good time, or use the optional 'instant transfer' option (extra bank fees may be charged by your bank)...

Payments received after 6pm or at weekends / public holidays will be processed the next business day.

DISCONNECTIONS ARE HANDLED AUTOMATICALLY BY THE SERVER BASED ON YOUR EXPIRY DATE, AND YOUR SUBSCRIPTION CANNOT BE EXTENDED UNTIL YOUR PAYMENT (OR PROOF OF PAYMENT) HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
